On behalf of the Organizing Committee of Asian Figure Skating Trophy 2012, I would like to extend my sincere welcome to all the skaters, judges and coaches from the International Skating Union (ISU) and Asian Skating Union (ASU) member federations.

Asian region has always play an important role in the International Skating Union, due to the technical skill level of the Asian Figure Skaters and plus the well experienced in organizing the ISU Figure Skating Championships Events.

However, there are still a large number of Asian Member Federations are in developing stage of figure skating. Therefore, the Chinese Taipei Skating Union has accepted the proposal from some of the member federations to expand the number of entries. As to promote and develop the Figure Skating in Asian Region.

The Organizing Committee has arranged high digital recorded TV broadcasting for this event.
